1. Poor Water Soaking Resistance The high-density fiber substrate is prone to water absorption and swelling after long-term soaking. It may cause arching, bulging and edge warping, not suitable for wet areas such as bathrooms and kitchens.
2. Slightly Hard Foot Feel Compared with solid wood flooring, the texture is harder and less elastic. The foot feel is slightly stiff, lacking the natural softness and warm texture of solid wood.
3. Cannot Be Polished & Repaired The surface is a printed wear-resistant layer without solid wood texture. Once worn or scratched severely, it cannot be polished, refurbished or repaired, only replaced as a whole.
4. Slight Formaldehyde Risk Made of fiberboard and adhesive bonding. There is trace formaldehyde release. It requires qualified environmental protection testing and ventilation before use.
5. Low High-Temperature Resistance Long-term high-temperature baking may cause surface layer aging, discoloration and peeling. It is not suitable for long-time direct high-temperature heat source irradiation.
6. Artificial Texture Limitation The grain is printed and copied. Although the simulation degree is high, it lacks the unique natural irregular texture and layering of real solid wood, with lower high-end sense.
